This picture is of the five people who were pretty much responsible for keeping the doors open and providing leadership at the AA/NA/JA Meetings at the Chinle SDA Church before COVID stopped the meetings, church attendance, and even the sweatlodge! Before COVID we had up to 100 attending the 12 Step Meetings 5 days a week. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation in the 12 Step Programs so these fine self sacrificing leaders only have first names...from left...Tom...Traci...Don...Freddy...and Malcolm
This picture was taken at Tuba City Navajo Fair at the Pepsi Stage. That summer my sponsee Bryson and I played 3 fairs including the main Navajo Fair in Window Rock. We presented RocknRollnRecovery. A 12 Step Musical Recovery Program. This Musical Recovery Program was well received and can be heard every once and a while on recoverytimeradio.com. Recovery from drugs and alcohol is difficult but entirely possible with a 12 Step Program with God in the center. It should also be fun!!!
