Drugs and Alcohol were fun for me I guess for about 10 years. Lots of fun. But in 1975 or so things began to change. I was living with a girl I did'nt love, I was selling large quantities of drugs...killer drugs like crystal meth and cocaine, barbituates and PCP, qualudes and LSD. I was the vice president of a legal church of the devil in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the lead singer in a band called Golgatha, and building a castle/fortress on the astral plane. I was suffering from PTSD from my year in Vietnam and...I guess I hated who I had become.
The 12 Step Program promises to "catapult" someone who reaches the 12 Step into a whole new dimension. Thats exactly what happened to JesusAndme.
Then I met Jesus and the 12 Steps. One day I was headed into the darkness, the next ...into the light! I left living with my girlfriend, stopped selling drugs, had hand to hand combat with the being who had the body of a man but the head of a wolf, stopped playing music with poison in it and started playing positive songs and pretty much became a whole new person...not perfect...but new. :)
